The DAY runs swiftly when ALL EYES SHALL BE
ON GOD. That day runs speedily when all eyes shall switch or shift from being
on Money, Women, Fashion, Power, Fame, Sports, Careers, Cars, English Premier
League, the Senate, the Presidency, the Stock Exchange, from Beyonce and
Davido, the Bank Accounts Statements, the Balance Sheets, the Pay Slips, the
Contract Deals, the Occult, the Witches and Wizards etc. On that DAY men will
loath to say like late Tupac Amar Shakur: ALL EYES ON ME but rather on God.
The Scriptures speaks of that day:
“In that day men will regard their
MAKER, and their EYES will LOOK to THE HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL; they will not have regard for the
altars, the work of their hands, and they will not look to what their own
fingers have made, either the Asherim or the altars of incense. In that day
their strong cities will be like the deserted places of the Hivites and the
Amorites which they deserted because of the children of Israel, and there will
be desolation” (Isaiah 17: 7 – 9 RSV).
On that DAY nobody will preach to you,
nobody will tell you to repent and seek the Lord. If you
survive the tempest and it is not too late you will give your life to Jesus
Christ yourself without any prodding from anyone because your eternity in Outer Darkness will be very obvious and stare you in the face (Zechariah
12: 10). Those who are already in and for Him will still fix their gaze on Him
the more; giving no room for distractions (Micah 7: 7).
Again the scripture speaks of that DAY as: “The burden of the word of the LORD in the
land of Hadrach, and Damascus shall be the rest thereof: when the EYES OF MAN,
as of all tribes of Israel, shall be TOWARD the LORD” (Zechariah 9: 1 KJV).
On that DAY both Jews and Gentiles shall by
themselves run to God. The vilest of sinners, the self righteous, the deceived,
the atheist, the agnostic, the new agers, the unbelievers, the heathen, the
confused, and the backslidden – they shall all by themselves seek and run to
God through His Son, Jesus the Christ.
Thus says the LORD: If my people will
return to me and say:
“...We do not know what to do, but our eyes
are upon thee” (2 Chronicles 20: 12) and “The eyes of all look to thee, and though
givest them their food in due season” (Psalms 145: 15).
Then I will welcome them and say:
“Come to me, all who labour and are heavy
laden, and I will give you rest” (Mathew 11: 28).
There is a rest that waits for those who
look to God!
