THE HISTORY OF THE AGES

There was a time that man was covered with the glory of God as he always beheld the glory of God. Man was perfect in spirit, soul and body. The world or earth was also a perfect place. Prior to the creation of the perfect world or earth, Satan then called Lucifer had rebelled in the third Heaven which was his original dwelling place; he was subsequently cast down to the second heaven. Now, Satan with hatred for God and with the intent to spoil God’s work and make man displease his maker came to earth through the first heaven which is the sky over earth and tempted man. Man indulged himself and disobeyed God and sin was given birth to (Man’s First sin was the sin of disobedience) but the first known sin whether in heaven or in earth was the sin of pride which led to rebellion and they were perpetuated by Satan in Heaven, then known as Lucifer). Consequently man fell and became imperfect in spirit, soul and body. The world too became imperfect for knowing a depilatory and destroying phenomenon called sin and the curse of God resulting from God’s anger.
Therefore, because man is in an imperfect state, nothing perfect can come out of an imperfect state. ‘Like will always beget like’. Thus man will always sin and struggle with sin. God for his unsurpassed intelligence and fore-hand knowledge through His ''fail safe'' mechanism and repairing plan came back to man; in His son Jesus to permanently:
1. Reconcile man back to Him
2. Address the sin question and nature of man
3. And perfect or bring back to life the dead spirit of man
The issue of the sin of the entire world and tongues has been addressed once and for all on the cross of Calvary at the place called Golgotha, while the bringing back to life or perfecting of man’s spirit (which is the real and true man) is only for those that believe that what happened on the cross in Golgotha was not a fluke, and also believe that that singular action was the atoning work of Jesus and then accept Him in their life after a 360 degrees turn around from their sinful ways, habits or character.
Man still sins and struggle with sin, why? Because man’s body and soul is not yet perfected, and the world is still imperfect with an imperfect and depraved leader (Satan) gallivanting around. Man is still dwelling in the world; this is why Apostle Paul lamented about his predicaments saying “the things I wish to do I find myself not doing, the things I wish not to do I find myself doing, never the less I rejoice that my spirit is alive and obedient to God but my body is dead to sin”.
Christians, our righteousness is of Jesus; know also that holiness (The obedience of God’s word) is a continual striving or effort. By believing in Him (Jesus) we are sanctified and counted as righteousness. That is the classic grace of Jesus at work (being one of the quartet gifts of God to man, the others are Jesus Himself, righteousness (or justification) and the Holy Spirit). Our body will only be perfect when Jesus will come again to gather His own, His elect; to take us to a perfect place. Then in split seconds the dead in Christ will rise first with new perfect bodies and those alive in Christ will be caught up after a quickening of their bodies (i.e. given new perfect bodies). It is the only imminent event true Christians await now. I recommend and strongly urge you to take advantage of the most unique but simplest formula the world has ever known, in order to partake of this future but certain event described above. It is really a determining factor, a sure criterion. Whether a man is dead or alive he will someday answer to or be judged by this condition.

So it boils down to this: Take and Give – what he did for you and what you will do for Him. This epoch, time and soon coming event will lead to and culminate in the series of events that will see to it that the imperfect leader (Satan), the imperfect people (sinners, 'rejecters' of Jesus) and the imperfect world is taken care of permanently. It is called the “execution of the written Judgment”. It will be a day of the Lord Himself. It is a dreadful, vengeful and wrathful sure appointment God has arranged and the world and those in it must keep. It will surely, surely come. Sooner than you know, expect or anticipate.
