MOSES’ 40 DAYS STAY WITH GOD ON MOUNT SINAI.

“When Moses went up on the mountain, the cloud covered it, and the glory of the LORD settled on Mount Sinai. For six days the cloud covered the mountain, and on the seventh day the LORD called to Moses from within the cloud. To the Israelites the glory of the LORD looked like a consuming fire on top of the mountain. Then Moses entered the cloud as he went on up the mountain. And he stayed on the mountain forty days and forty nights” - Exodus 24:15-18,
“Make this tabernacle and all its furnishings exactly like the pattern I will show you”, “See that you make them according to the pattern shown you on the mountain” - Exodus 25:9, 40,

“Set up the tabernacle according to the plan shown you on the mountain” - Exodus 26:30.

When God called Moses to stay with Him on Mount Sinai for 40 days, it was not solely a call for communion; it was a call to receive instructions. Moses was shown heavenly presentations which he was to replicate on earth amongst God’s people. All that Moses was shown and asked to replicate on earth strictly sticking to the specifications and designs are what exist or operates tangibly in heaven.
What Moses was to do on earth was just a shadow of what is in heaven-the kingdom of God. The instructions were very pertinent.
All of these tells me or gives me more insight on my God and makes things much clearer to me.For example, when a person is acknowledged to genuinely have the call of God upon his life and this recognition is followed with eventual ordainment in ministry; it is because such person was already divinely chosen and ordained or commissioned in heaven by God in eternal ramifications.That's how God works. 
So, when you read of Priestly Garments, Holy Anointing Oil or Consecration/Ordination of Priests in the Bible, it is because these things have already happened or have their origin in heaven - the abode of God.


The following are what Moses saw and was instructed to replicate on earth:

1.        Ark of Testimony or Covenant – Exodus 25:10-22
2.        Ark of Testimony Table – Exodus 23:28
3.        Utensils, Lamp stands, Lamps – Exodus 25:29-40
4.        Tabernacle, Tent and Veil – Exodus 26:1-37
5.        Altar of Offering – Exodus 27:1-8
6.        Court of Tabernacle – Exodus 27:9-19
7.        Olive Oil for Tabernacle – Exodus 27:20
8.        Priestly Garments – Exodus 28
9.        Consecration/Ordination of Priests and Altar Offerings – Exodus 29
10.      Altar Incense to the Lord – Exodus 30:1-10
11.      Atonement Offering for God’s People to stay Sickness – Exodus 30:11-16
12.      Laver of Bronze for Washing – Exodus 30:17-21
13.      Holy Anointing Oil – Exodus 30:22-33
14.      Holy Incense – Exodus 30:34-38
15.      Moses also received instruction from God on the observance of Sabbath

           which he was to pass on to the people of Israel – Exodus 31:12-17

16.      Finally, God handed to him the Testimony or Covenant (the 10   

           commandments) handwritten by God Himself on Tables of Stones –  

           Exodus31:18
