“My people are being destroyed because they don’t know me. It is all
your fault, you priests, for you yourselves refuse to know me. Now I refuse to
recognize you as my priests. Since you have forgotten the laws of your God, I
will forget to bless your children. The more priests there are, the more they
sin against me. They have exchanged the glory of God for the disgrace of idols”
Hosea 4: 6 – 7.

Neglecting or rejecting the will, direction or
leadership of the Holy Spirit of God
2.
Christians separating their spiritual lives from
their secular lives – If you are a Christian it must show in your work,
business or endeavour
3.
Christians not living their lives for God – in
other word
s holily and righteously
4.
Christians preferring to seek earthly recognition
instead of heavenly recognition
5.
Having to do with leaders including religious or
church leaders who have compromised their stand
6.
Having religious leaders including church
leaders who know the truth but have refused or decided not to declare it – Very
few stand and declare God’s will
7.
The absence of Core Values in today’s Church,
that is, neglecting those things which constitute what Jesus Christ came to do
on earth. What we are supposed to do as a Church but we are not doing and doing
those things that God does not expect us to do
8.
Failing to make Disciples of those we bring or
who come into the Church
9.
Ordaining those who just joined the Church or
are not Disciples of Jesus Christ
10.
Spreading and teaching messages centred only on
God’s Love and leaving out God’s Anger
11.
Undue
emphasis on Materialism at the expense of true Salvation and Repentance
12.
Lack of Love and Unity in the Church and its
perpetuation by her leaders
13.
Complacency by the Church
14.
Deception by religious or Church leaders
15.
Hypocrisy by both Clergy and Laity
16.
High level of immorality
17.
Tolerance of indecency
